Online Counselling Sessions
60 minutes

Online sessions offer you the option of connecting from a place that is convienient for you. It's important to have a space that you won't be interrupted or overheard. You'll also want to have a reliable internet service. Online counselling offers flexibility without losing depth. It allows you to access support from the comfort of your own space, which can feel especially helpful if you’re juggling work, family responsibilities, or limited energy. Many people find it easier to open up when they don’t have to travel or sit in an unfamiliar office.

Phone Counselling Sessions
60 minutes

Phone counselling can be a good option if you prefer more privacy, feel overwhelmed by video, or find it easier to focus without being seen. Some people find that talking by phone allows them to stay more present with their thoughts and emotions, especially during difficult conversations. Phone sessions offer flexibility and accessibility while still providing thoughtful, supportive care.

In-Person Sessions- Duncan BC
60 minutes

Meeting in person allows us to connect in a more grounded, human way. Being in the same space can help you feel more supported, seen, and emotionally held—especially when working through vulnerable or complex experiences. For some people, the quiet, private setting of in-person counselling makes it easier to slow down, tune in, and do deeper healing work.

My Approach

My approach to counselling is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in an understanding of trauma. I’m interested not only in what you’re experiencing, but also in the broader contexts shaping it — including relationships, family systems, and the social and cultural realities of the world we’re living in. Many of the struggles people bring to counselling make sense when viewed through this wider lens.

Rather than focusing on fixing or pushing for change, I aim to help you understand your patterns, emotions, and responses with care and curiosity. Together, we explore how these responses developed, what they may have helped you survive, and how they’re interacting with your current circumstances. For many people, there can be relief simply in having their experiences heard and taken seriously, sometimes even before any concrete changes are made.

This work isn’t about pathologizing or placing blame. It’s about making meaning together, at a pace that feels manageable, and recognizing that what feels difficult or overwhelming may be a reasonable response to complex personal and collective experiences. From there, we can gently work toward change that feels steady, supportive, and sustainable.

My Approach

As a counsellor, I acknowledge with respect that my practice is located on the traditional, unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Quw’utsun’ (Cowichan) Tribes, Penelakut, Halalt, Stz’uminus, Lyackson, and Ts’uubaa-asatx Nations. I recognize that this land has been occupied and cared for by these Nations since time immemorial, and I am committed to learning and walking the path of reconciliation in my work.

Progress flag LGBTQAI2S+

I am committed to providing an affirming and inclusive space for people of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities. This includes actively supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ clients and recognizing the impact of systemic oppression on mental health.
